VRP500 nr. 002

After a search on the internet I found VRP500 nr. 002, this bike was out of sight for a long time. After speaking to Carlo Verona about this bike he told me that he has built a third bike last year!!
When he started this project way back in 1989, he made 3 frames, tanks and fairings and parts to make 5 engines. So out of the old stock he was able to built another bike. The nr. 001 bike is still in his workshop, this is the bike that Andy Leuthe raced in the 500cc GP class in 1989.

Carlo also made a very nice alloy frame and tank for the Honda CR125 in only 12 units. He was probably the first who ever made an alloy frame for a motocross bike.

Yamaha 8 cylinder dragracer

Here we have an absolutely amazing dragracer, a 1980 Yamaha TZ1500cc 8 cylinder two stroke! Two TZ750 engines crafted into a V8/W8 with a special 3 speed air shift gearbox with 280HP, with nitro injection taking it to 520HP. This crazy machine was created by the very talented Roland Broadbent. First rider and owner of this bike was Graham Dark. This monster is 3 meters long with the wheelie bar it measures 5.5 meter. It ran 8.3 sec quarters with 188 mph at the top, according to one of the former riders it could easily do 200mph quarters.
